What we collect, and what we don't.

The short version

DoTest is designed to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts. There is no email collection. Your test answers are scored in your browser and never reach our server. The shareable result link encodes your scores directly into the URL — when you share it, you're handing over the data; we don't hold a copy.

What we collect

Anonymous traffic data via Cloudflare Web Analytics. This is a cookieless analytics product that tells us, in aggregate, how many people visited each page and which country they came from. It does not fingerprint your browser. It does not associate visits with your identity. We use this to know whether anyone is reading the work.

That's all we collect. There is no second item on this list.

What we don't collect

• Your name.
• Your email address.
• Your test answers (we never see them).
• Your test result (it lives in the URL you share, not on our server).
• Your IP address (Cloudflare anonymises it before any analytics record).
• Behavioural data for ad targeting.

What's stored in your browser

While you're taking a test, we use localStorage on your device to save your progress so you can resume if you close the tab. This data never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data clears it.

We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not run a consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Third parties

We host on Cloudflare. Cloudflare necessarily receives the request in order to serve the page. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for what it does with that.

We do not embed Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, ad-tech beacons, session replay, or any other third-party tracker.

Children

DoTest is written for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has interacted with us in a way that ought to be cleared, email privacy@dotest.app.

Your rights

Since we don't hold personal data about you, there is nothing to request, export, correct, or delete. If you'd like a longer answer about anything on this page, write to privacy@dotest.app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes. Continued use of DoTest after a change means you accept the current version.
